What I Do

 

When our newly-promoted leaders need extra support transitioning into or implementing their roles, I support ePerformax by creating training to close that gap. With our team of instructional designers and trainers, we refine our leaders' communication and leadership skills so they not only drive great performance but also cultivate meaningful work relationships.

My facilitation experience started right out of college when I taught computer productivity classes to both children and adults. I realized early on that training was the field I wanted to be in: not just delivering training but also developing it. Since then, I’ve developed technology modules, a corporate English proficiency curriculum, and several leadership development courses.  I highly enjoy opportunities that enable me to continue growing this skill set.

I joined Toastmasters in 2013 originally because I just wanted to be better at speaking off-the-cuff. I ended up learning so much more. With its curriculum and supportive environment, I became better at articulating my thoughts as well as presenting them clearly and confidently. I've won contests in prepared speeches, extemporaneous speeches, and impromptu speeches at the club, area, division, and district levels. With Toastmasters, I continue to refine my communication skills.

DiSC AND NVC

 

DiSC is a well-known personality assessment model that increases understanding of one's self and others--what makes us different--and how to navigate those differences for effective interactions.

NVC stands for NonViolent Communication: a way of communicating that inspires compassion and cooperation by focusing on what makes us the same. This key difference makes NVC the foundation for empathy and connection in both professional and personal settings.
